FASHION EAST STUDIO

Here are some amazing pair of freaking 'stingray shoes' at the fashion east studio in London. When I was being interviewed I just went in a glare, eyeing up these wonderful made shoes for a designer for London fashion week S/S in September.

Oh and by the way I did get the intern but not in the office"thank god". They are going to put me through backstage in September working along side menswear designers for fashion week.

I got to see many designers collection, mainly womenswear on the rakes at the studio including Holly Fluton.

COLLECTION DONE

I have finished the construction side of my collection. All I have to do is button holes on a few shirts and some pressing, and that's it:)

I like the idea of not using too much of the white negative space. This truly shows the image of well, keeping it clean and simple with that smart feel for my portfolio.

I have done 6 shirts 6 trouser's with 1 coat and 1 jacket. With this includes stingray leather gadgets. Belts bags and wallets.

POSSIBLE INTERN AT FASHION EAST

I recieved a text from Katie Eary about fashion east 'a major catwalk production' who have started the career of Katie Eary herself, Holly Fulton and Basso / Brooke, giving students a chance to be part of them.

Fashion East is a non-profit organisation set up by The Old Truman Brewery in 2000. Each season they give young designers (selected by a panel of leading industry figures) a bursary, catwalk show-production, PR support and expert advice to help them launch their labels- amazing haaaaa

ALEXANDER MCQUEEN'S S/S 05 FACE PAINT

For the David Lam photo shoot I had my model's face painted black inspired by the tribe look done by MAC.

I also would like to have this done for the runway show of my collection to all 6 model's. a bit like McQueen's s/s05 collection blue face.

HAND WALLET INSPIRATION- MCQUEEN

McQueen's s/s Milan 2007 collection with the smart hand wallets.

I proposed on this by having stingray leather hand wallet in, for my collection.

ILLISTRATIONS

In Paris back in Feb 10 for INDIGO I brought this VOGUE magazine which contained rich illistrations of McQueen's s/s- 10 collection.

Im thinking of doing this body style of drawing for my HOMO. Sapiens collection for my porfolio. I just love the raw edge with the strong approch to print detail which I have in my collection.

MORE STINGRAY LEATHER GOODS

A few weeks back I got stingray leather goods made up for my fashion show to go with the garments. Well they arrived well than planed. The belts are amazing I though I would get some belts that had the white spine showing, so that this fit in with the collection.

My hand wallet is nice with open appartments - Cards, cash and zipper.
