Modelling for Kilimanjaro magazine in February while working for Katie and doing my final collection with the dissertation AND PARIS. GOD ANYMORE! I think that is it
Final year of studying BA-(HONS) in Fashion/Textile at Colchester School of Art & Design. The course so far has allowed me to adapted myself to many forms developing an imaginative, innovative approach towards garments. This has lead to the relization of specializing menswear.
Inspired by nature- animals, plants also science, architecture and the future, on how we nature our planet to suit our needs. My current collection A/W- 11 'HOMO SAPIENS' is inspired by human revolution on how humans adapt to modern life. Charles Darwin once said, "Its not about progression, its about adapting". People might say we have stopped evolving, but I feel we are still changing, adapting to our enviroment.
I gained work placement with Katie Eary, who has really inspired me. Eary gave me the insight into the industry, further enriching my appreciation of high end fashion.
I Love London fashion week because it is the only country that is not scared of creating new refined garments that are so unique. London is to be for me, it is known for talented designers such as Alexander McQueen, Hussein Chalayan, Katie Eary and Gareth Pugh.
